After using both of these mascaras over the past couple of weeks, I can confidently say they deliver some impressive results. The first thing I noticed was how easy they were to apply. Both formulas glide on smoothly without any tugging, and the brushes—particularly the soft bristle one on the Paradise—really do catch every lash. I’ve tried them in various conditions: from my daily work routine to a night out, and they’ve held up surprisingly well.

Now, when we look at value for money, these mascaras are priced reasonably for the performance they offer. I’ve used higher-end mascaras that didn’t give me as much volume or length as these do, so I’d say they’re definitely worth the price. The formulas are long-lasting and don’t flake throughout the day, which is a big win for me.
I should also mention that if you’re looking for something more budget-friendly, there are other mascaras out there that might suit your needs. Maybelline’s Lash Sensational, for example, provides great volume for a lower price. But if you’re after the full volume experience, L’Oreal’s Voluminous Mascaras are definitely a solid choice.
As for the build quality, the packaging is sleek and sturdy. Both mascaras come in classic gold and black tubes that look quite elegant, and the brush design is functional. The volume-maximizing brush is slightly larger, which might take some getting used to for those with smaller eyes or more delicate lashes, but overall, it’s well-designed to build volume without overloading your lashes.
Now, I didn’t have any direct interaction with L’Oreal’s customer service for this review, but from what I’ve heard, they tend to be pretty responsive and helpful with any inquiries or issues.
If you’re considering whether to add these mascaras to your collection, I’d say they’re well worth trying if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option that offers real results in terms of both length and volume. The Paradise mascara is great for a soft, feathery look, while the Original Volume Building Mascara delivers on thickness and drama.
